Would you travel to a city knowing the police force has been defunded?

I have to wonder what it would do for some of these larger cities if tourists go elsewhere.

Tourists aren’t gonna go cause most of the inhabitants will be gone.

Absolutely not. I watched "Seattle is Dying" on YouTube. And they haven't been defunded, yet. They just don't charge the people that get arrested.

I can’t even wrap my head around that kind of lunacy and I don’t like the police either.

Someone breaks into your home while your away, call a grief counselor? WTH?

Can we just kill the sickos that prey on young children now?

What about the drunk drivers? Are they good to go now? Man, if this defunding would have happened 20 years ago I sure would have saved myself some money.

I say, let those idiotic liberals de-fund it. I don't live there, will never go there, and want to watch their little experiment blow up. I'll just sit back and laugh when the chaos hits. That would be some good TV.

Absolutely not.

I want the police to be reformed so badly. Ever since I saw that Daniel Shaver video I've wanted police reform. I know a lot of good cops. I have many HS friends who are now cops, and I know they are good people just trying to make it like the rest of us.

But I also know there are shite cops. As much as it sucks, people remember cops who do bad more than cops who do good.

However, I'm not naive enough to think abolishing a police force and leaving everything up to social workers is the answer. There are people, black, white, hispanic, asian, and every other ethnicity who don't give a frick about the race war and are getting really excited at the prospect of a disbanded police force.

Reform the policing in the United States. Add some oversight to their disciplinary procedures, as well as their spending. Don't disband them.

People who wish tho defund and disarm police are crazy naive.

If I was a serial killer I would 100% vacation in a city with no police.

But I'm not so I will stay away.

Once Cali defunds the police statewide we’ll use SS as our insider. But he’ll probably be too busy deflecting the subject and posting “you call that living” to keep us updated.

Depends how we define defunded.

If it’s a 5% reduction in funding that forces them to sell a couple of their quasi-tanks, then yea, I’d have no problem continuing to travel there. But if it’s a complete tear down and rebuild/replace type job, then absolutely not, not until we have a couple years worth of data to see the full impact.

Funny how the left believes the police system is failing & defunding it will solve its problems, yet the public education system is failing & they think pouring more money into it will fix things.

Yeah, I'm for defunding the police as long as it's in a city I don't live in or visit.

Defund the Detroit police & lets see how well that works out for them.
