80s.

The only thing we have now that I would miss is satellite radio. Literally nothing else. And that’s only because I drive a lot.

Probably not.

I've always kind of been fascinated with the 1910's and 1920's, but not sure I could survive a summer with no central AC. I think I could easily adapt to the lack of technology, but not the creature comforts I'm use to. Comfortable driving cars, air travel, comfortable clothes, etc.

Already lived through the late 70's and 80's. I guess it'd be cool to do those again as an adult. I guess I'd do that as an adult if I can also take my current salary with me.

Catch is that you would know and remember the technology you gave up (couldn't tell anyone of course or profit from the knowledge), so you'd always know what you gave up.

How much of a prohibition would we put on this?

Could I not frick around and go somewhere in the empire during Pax Romana and develop a steam engine?

This isn’t a bad answer, although I would personally choose the 90s, because I think pop culture and sports were better in the 90s than the aughts.

Child of the 80’s and 90’s. No social media, but just enough technology to have fun (sega, madden, Nintendo, etc). Still played a shite load of baseball, basketball, football, soccer, camping.

I think maybe 1967 or so would have been ideal for me. 70s childhood, 80s HS and college. 90s entering the workforce and young adulthood.

Yep. That would have been awesome.

Everyone should experience the 80's.

I would put the 80s on loop if I could.

I was born in 1988 - wish I could’ve been a late teen or in early 20s in the 80s.

100% yes. The 80s. I want to bring my kids with me, though.

When did modern AC become a non-luxury item?

My school got A/C while we were on summer vacation in 1985. So at that point it was probably pretty ubiquitous.
