In the U.S. alone outdoor cats kill over 2.6 billion birds every year. 63 species of birds, mammals, and reptiles are extinct because of them. I’ve had outdoor cats and they are highly effective killers!

Yes. Feral cats
Biggest Hippocrates in the pet world “cat owners saying it’s just nature when their pets kill “. But scream bloody murder when wildlife turns the tables

I'm not in favor of the government telling citizens what pets they can legally own that aren't a danger or nuisance to other neighboring homeowners.

Absolutely.

TNR programs are anti-wildlife programs.

Those who are ignorant of history (you in this case) are doomed to repeat it.

In other words, the answer is no. They’re an important part of ecosystems that keeps pests such as disease-carrying rodents from multiplying out of control. Elimination of cats leads to more pest animals and more filth and disease.

What about if they are a danger to wildlife? The cats are invasive.

Allow citizens free reign to destroy any outdoor cat encountered

Why would anyone give a frick? Do you not realize that wildlife lives to kill and eat other wildlife? If a damn cat is killing you, you were gonna get killed by something else soon anyway

They aren’t important to natural ecosystems. IF they are needed around humans what that is really telling you is that humans are the problem.

This is how the government replaces the old model birds with the new ones.

Because some of us care about the natural world.

This situation isn’t the same and you know it, despite your ‘do you not realize’ attempt to sound like an authority. Or maybe you don’t.

Your ignorance is on full display

It seems to me most people don’t give a dam about birds and wildlife.
