Would you rather work 5-8s at $29 or 4-10s at $25.25

Got offered an office manager job at $29 but it's 5-8s and I currently work 4-10s.
Same benefits. Both no overtime.
Yes, the other job is $3.75 more per hour but god damn I'd be lying if I said 4-10s has made my life a lot better.
I'm single with no kids in a low COL area so it's not like I'm struggling.

Give me the 3 full days off without question.

I’d find a job that pays more.

Ask for a raise from the 25.25 people and ask for 4 10's from the $29 people...

In this case I'd stick with the 4-10s

I work a 4-10 schedule and love my 3 day weekends. I rarely need to take vacation days since I have Fridays off.

I'd take the extra money and up my daily TD posting hours.

I see what you're saying, but $60,320 annual is 14.9% more than $52,520.
Also if some of your benefits are proportional to your salary, the overall difference will be greater than $7,800.

How busy are your Fridays? Whats the commute?
If your Fridays are pretty easy and the commute isn't bad, I'd take the money.
That's a lot of money left on the table for that pay rate.

That’s having to work an extra 52 days a year to earn that extra $3.75 an hour
That’s 52 more commutes to work
That’s 52 more commutes from work
That’s 52 more times having to deal with work bullshite
frick that

I’d rather work 5 8s at the same money

Why is there a difference in pay. The same amount of hours are being worked. I loved working 4 10’s.

I’d rather be Zelensky and launder $100 billion for the Democrats. 10% for the big guy

As someone who did 2 years of 4x10s recently, 4x10 is so much more free time. And a weekday to run errands. I prefer that even with the difference in $.

I work 4-10s. I’m never giving it up.

I went from having every other Friday off to regular 5 day work week and didn’t think it would be that big of a deal, but that extra day here and there makes a huge difference.

I would take the offer to current employer, maybe he will bump you up. I stay at 4 days though.
