Would you rather know when you'll die or how you'll die?

Say you won't be able to prevent it or change how you die. Which would you rather want to know?

The exact date and time, but not know how you will die. It will be a very painful horrible death.

or

How you will die, but not know when. It will be a quick painless death.

How. Unless it’s decades from now, I don’t have any interest in knowing when I’ll die.

What if the answer is bitten by a poisonous snake that crawled up your toilet? That would be a miserable rest of your life.

So I know when I will die and can’t change it? Meaning, they tell me I’ll die when I’m 85 so I can do anything I want until then with no fear of death? I would be invincible!!!

This whole scenario is ruined because you mandate that if you know when that it will be a horrible painful death and if you know how, it will not be painful. I would much rather know WHEN so I can live my life to the fullest. I could save and spend my money accordingly. But if it is going to be painful and slow, then frick that. I guess I would have to choose how just to avoid the slow and painful death.

Neither. That's the beauty of life. The unpredictable.

When. If you find out how, you might be afraid to do that activity again. For example, if you find out it's in a plane crash, you'd probably avoid flying again.

Both of my kids have a 50/50 chance of getting a life threatening disease inherited from their mother.

I want them to find out they DONT have it but and am scared to find out they do have it.

I cant make the call for them to get tested.

This answer should be When.

I don't know why anyone would want it differently.

How would just make you question every little thing that happened to you each day. Would make you a nervous wreck.

NO. I'll die eventually, it's inevitable. You will too. Live accordingly. Live, Love, Laugh and Leave when the time comes.
