Seeing a lot of children missing had me wondering if people would put a chip into their kids to be able to track them all the time? Is that a realistic option? You could remove it when they get older.

Heck no. I’m not a helicopter parent.

I've thought about this in the past. Not sure if I would do it or not, but it is definitely something I see happening in the future with kids.

No because, I'm not a psycho.

Also, anything you can track someone else can track too.

I don’t see it as be a psycho at all. God forbid your child ever goes missing. If it were ever to happen it would definitely be nice to have. Could help keep them alive.

Bc I don’t think it’s even an option yet. I have one in my dog and cat.

I’d do it not to be afraid of them going missing but to see where they are sneaking off to in high school

No, because it is a gateway to government or hackers gaining access to their movements and locations.

Similar to when I had my fingerprints taken in elementary school under the guise of helping to identity and rescue me if I was ever kidnapped. In reality, it was an excuse to get as many fingerprints as possible into a database.

The current scam is a DNA profile. Implants open a whole new realm of abuse and privacy concerns.

Get the vet to take the one out of the cat and stick it in your child’s ear. If the cat gets lost, just let someone else have it.

Mine aren’t required to be microchipped because they are already tattooed
