This could help in Baton Rouge traffic.

More of a personal aircraft or drone than a flying car, GM plans to leverage its on-road EV technologies to get airborne.

If I could take this instead of driving 45 to downtown Houston, absolutely.

No, and I do not want any Louisiana drivers flying one around me either.

Since people have a hard time driving normal cars and not being idiots I'd say that they damned sure don't need to be in vehicle that would fall to the ground if sufficient damage was done in a collision.

If they have gravity generators that didn't die on collsions then sure.

I'm not riding one out of warranty if it's a GM.

Depends. Will power lines light up at night?

Because I will hit them if not.

Will they lease these to people willing to spend 80% of their income on a Cadillac?

The tiktok videos are going to be amazing.

I saw this on the news this morning. There is no question I would fly in one.. That is. If it meets all the safety guidelines, etc.

They wouldn't let you fly that thing.

I believe similar ones are launching in Orlando (or Miami? can't recall) soon with an attached Uber-esque service that is quite expensive.

But this sort of thing is definitely picking up some steam.

If they work, and don't start falling out of the sky onto houses, they could be a lot more common in 20 years.

GM has spent over 100 years trying to get cars with wheels right, no way I'm interesting in them lifting me off the ground.
