No, but I had a guy get out of a car and approach me over road rage in downtown Memphis. I was at a red light that just turned green but couldn't go because a bunch of people started crossing the street. While waiting on them to pass the car behind me starts laying on the horn and won't quit, so I flicked them off. At the next red light one of the guys in the car gets out and comes up to my passenger window, guy is huge and extremely thuggish. I can't remember exactly what I said but it was essentially "frick off". He got back in the car and they followed me all the way through the rest of downtown until I turned to get on the interstate. I can't decide if they wanted to just beat my arse or rob me, I'm thinking beat my arse but robbing me would have just been gravy

Once, many years ago in my 'Billy Bad Azz' days driving back to campus late at night, I found myself being tail gated by some idiot with his high beams on. We start slowing and passing each other with high beams in the others rear view mirror. When I pulled over and stopped on the shoulder he stopped right behind me and I got out and was standing beside his opened window explaining how I was about to beat his worthless azz.
When I glanced down I was looking down the barrel of a large caliber pistol. I grabbed it with both hands and lunged through the window pushing the gun toward the passenger window. I dropped to the ground and scooted hastily to my car and hauled azz. My heart didn't stop pounding for what seemed forever.
I'm much more relaxed and forgiving in traffic these days.

Nope. Had a friend do that about 10 years ago and when he got up to the car he was shot right in the stomach. He made it but regrets that night.

My ex boss used to tell me stories like this. Guys would get pissed at him and come over to confront him at a light or follow him to a parking lot. The confrontations usually only lasted a few seconds though because he was about 6'8 and weighed like 370 pounds when he got out of his truck

Once in a drive thru. Person in front of me threw a big cup or small bag of trash (don't recall exactly what it was) out of their window onto the pavement. Got out of the truck, picked it up, knocked on their window, and handed it back to them saying they dropped this.

Heading west on 190 near Livonia, a car was turning into the dollar value. . The car stopped on the shoulder, driver gets out and just starts screaming- I wasn’t sure if he was screaming at me or someone else

I got into it with an old man in an A&M hat at a gas pump in El Campo TX one time. When he realized I was an able bodied whipper snapper he backed down.

Many, many years ago we were on our way down to Hopedale to go fishing.
It was 4:00 AM, I was 16, driving our 1976 Mercury Cougar with a trailer ball on the bumper pulling a 17 ft boat while dad and my a-hole brothers were all sound asleep.
Stopped at a red light on Judge Perez Drive and witnessed the most Chalmette thing in history.
Across the intersection, a drunk in an Iroc-Z pulls to the light in the turn lane and passes out. A delivery truck pulls up behind him and waits a few seconds for the Z to move once they get a green arrow to turn. Trucker lays on his horn and the guy in the Z wakes up.
Instead of going, the Z driver - obviously loaded - gets out and starts cursing the truck driver.
Trucker hops out, all 5'2" of him, and declares "frick you brah" and jumps on the Z driver like a little fricking spider monkey and proceeds to wear him out - BAD.
Chalmette road rage, where a drunk get his arse beat by a borderline midget at 4 in the morning in the middle of Judge Perez.
fricking outstanding entertainment, would highly recommend.

Did it once only because he pulled in behind me in a parking lot. Lessons were learned.

I only got out once but it was more due to the fact I arrived at the place I was going to, which in this case was the gun range..
I was heading to the range with a buddy for the day and on the way encountered a road rage scenario. Admittedly, I cut off the other driver pretty bad. He was in my blind spot and I didn't see him. Understandably he lays on the horn. I give him the "I'm sorry/my bad" wave and thought that would be it. He sped up cut me off and break checked me hard. I guess he thought I was flicking him off. He then got along side of me telling me to pull over so he could fight.
At this point, the range is 1/4mile down the road.i just yelled back "alright" and made the turn at the light into the range parking lot. I guess he thought it was just the place I wanted to throw down so he proceeded to follow me but missed the light.
I parked and my buddy and i get out of the car. Both open carrying and grab our rifles out of the car and just stare at this dude at the light. He see this all happen and freaks the frick out, speeds off running the light.
Strangest thing I have ever encountered. To everyone's point, you never know who has a gun in the car...

If you get out and approach his car, legally speaking, you are the aggressor. If god forbid it escalates, could be in trouble

No. When someone is acting stupid in traffic, I just try to get away from them. Confronting them is increasingly dangerous these days. You just never know who may pull a gun or something.

i know someone who did that, turned out, it was someone he knew. bet he felt dumb

He rolled his window up and left. I was acting like the gun didn't bother me the whole time but I was really thinking "I hope this mfer doesn't shoot me."

I have done the same thing and apologized and hoping that things would calm down - but often they do not.
