At least what I can see looks cool. It’s an Ultium vehicle, so it’s going to have long range and very fast charging.

quote:

The Prologue will be the first of two vehicles that Honda is co-developing with General Motors, using the US automaker’s Ultium battery packs. The other vehicle will carry the Acura nameplate and will also be developed jointly with GM, but the company hasn’t revealed any new information about it at this time. The Prologue, which will go on sale in 2024, also marks the beginning of a wave of 30 hybrid, battery-electric, and fuel-cell vehicles that Honda says it will release by 2030.

These EVs will be built on a variety of EV architectures that Honda is building, some in collaboration with General Motors. The Honda Prologue and Acura EV will be built on GM’s Ultium platform, which is also powering the Detroit-based automaker’s Hummer EV pickup truck and Cadillac Lyriq SUV.

Does it really come with a swarm of vampire bats following it around?

Also, does it get a weeks worth of driving on a charge? Some of these companie are tryna sell EV's that only got 150 miles on a charge.

depending on the range and charge time, yes. I'm only driving an IC vehicle because it's more practical/affordable than electric at this point. Once EVs become more affordable and have similar range I'm all for it.

I don’t get why they have to make all electric cars look like robots. How about you just make a good, regular looking vehicle that also happens to be electric.

You have any actual numbers? Because GM's website says nothing about faster charging and the only details on range have more to do with being able to package pouch cells than anything to do with battery chemistry.

Yes. I also intend to drive my EV through heavily wooded regions where the charging infrastructure is obviously more established.

EV’s usually have excellent proportions, dash to axle ratio, etc. but weird styling.

I thought this was the first one that didn’t look stupid.

The Hummer EV can use 350Kw fast charging. About 100 miles of range in 10 minutes on that one, and it’s shaped like a brick. That’s faster than Tesla and Rivian. But it’s still limited by shitty charging infrastructure.

I imagine a lighter one like this can get more range for that charge time. But maybe it doesn’t charge as fast since it’s cheaper?
