Car and Driver

Honestly….kind of underwhelmed except for the Raptor. The GMC Canyon and new Tacoma both look better to me.

The competition:

Drive what you want. Who cares what everyone else thinks?

Might not look too bad with a 2 foot lift in the front and a noticeably lowered arse end.

All of them look decent.

What do you use your truck for? How often?

They sure are putting a lot of effort into the mid-size trucks. I guess they realize baws wont be forking over $85-100K for a truck in the near future.

not a bad looking truck but I'm keeping my V8 Tundra until the wheels fall off

then I'll get a new axle and keep going

Everyone would drive it. Now buy it, that's a different question.

No because the extended cab is no more and I prefer a larger bed over interior rear seat space for a smaller truck.

They need to make the back seat about a foot longer. I had a Frontier that was just the right amount of room in the back. I could fit a full size container on the floor in the back, or my kayak crate with no issues. I test drove a Ranger and really liked it with the exception of the back seat. It was just a tad bit smaller than the Frontier and I didn’t like the way the seat folded up.

I think this has the same cab as the old one. They updated it but didn’t change the basic dimensions very much.
