on occasion we would do something that resulted in a cop chasing us...
once we zipped off the highway to go into a subdivision and pulled up into a driveway turn lights off and duck...
next thing we heard was the cop tapping on the window..."you boys wanna step out"
it was not a god car to blend into the residential parking vehicles..

Mustangs of the 70’s to early 00’s sucked.
But I’d damn near give a testicle to have a mint condition 87 Buick GNX. The only American made car from the 80’s that was really worth a shite.

They improved the styling of the fox body Mustang towards the end, but not the performance. They were slow and cheap - but that is the Mustang formula. Almost all of them were sold to young women.
Many of those late Fox bodies could run 12s in the quarter without much work. A short belt, slicks, 93 octane gas, and a twist of the distributor would probably do it.

The Trans-Am looked awesome from that time.
The Camaro from 1975 wasn't my favorite....but it wasn't bad looking.

My first car was a 77 Camaro. Of course, I didn’t own it until 1988 ha! That front end would really float at 100 mph.
