Would you buy this watch/brand?

This company basically replicates expensive watches and do a good job of doing it. Some of their pieces are on amazon. The one I'm looking at looks like a Rolex. Is it worth $250 for basically a look alike (yet well made) watch?

Excellent question. I went to a conference last week and someone was wearing one of these. Made me do a double take. Hopefully the watch heads can give you a real answer.

the people who would notice it will. you'd have to be a real jerk to say something about it though. most people could care less. have a pretty nice rolex - was my dad's - i wear every day. had been dating this girl for a couple years and some random dude at the airport bar commented on it, said he used to sell them and it was a rare bird. she had no idea it was a rolex until then. she really didn't seem to give much of a damn about it after either. waddayagonnado

Watch it, hour aficionados here will wind up wanting to throw hands and crown you for wasting their time with minute details of some second-rate chronometer.

It’s at the right price point for the NH35 movement, so why not? If that’s the look you’re going for, get it.
At that price point, though, personally, I’d look into brands like Seiko, Citizen, and Orient. You’d get a really nice watch with a warranty.

I have no problem with them making (or you buying) a Rolex look alike. You just need to be sure those are actually well-made and dependable. It is a pretty expensive watch to be a knock off. Is there any kind of warranty, etc?

Chinese homage brands come out of the same factories as the reps. Good reps have quality movements and sapphire, and I've owned them, but you can still feel the difference from the real thing. At $250, it'll get old fast. I'd buy a vintage watch before this

You need to see in person anything with fake gold. Most of those higher quality knock offs still look very fake in person even though the pictures look good

People who know watches will notice it, and it won't be a good moment for you. Also, imagine you are on a date, at a conference, with a client, anything where your character is being investigated, and you get a compliment about the watch being a Rolex and they want to look at it/try it on. When they find out its fake, a red flag has been raised on their relationship with you.

Have an upvote, if you like the watch then go for it. Your opinion is what matters.
Personally, I don't like the idea of looking at an homage 'fake' watch everyday. At that price point, I'd look for something that stands on its own - new Seiko or used/grey market Hamilton or Tissot, many others. You can find this a Chrono24 or Jomashop. I've had good experiences with both sites.

I would never wear a fake or knockoff personally. While nobody else may know or notice, I would. But that is the beauty of watch collecting. If you like it, get it and wear it. Don’t let someone else prevent you from doing what you like when it comes to watches and don’t buy one just to follow a trend.
But $250 for a rep? You can get actual Rolex reps for around that price. If fake is your thing, Rolex clones are available. There are super clones for a little more than nobody can tell the difference from an authentic without opening up the case.
