Not enough. Maybe like a xfl team or something you could afford.

You would need more than double what you end up taking home

I’d buy a lot of shite but nothing as needy as a sports team. Seems like a hassle.

But I might pay Saban to retire.

As long as I could hold a majority and make decisions undisputed. First thing I’m doing is trading Julio and deon Jones to the saints

NFL is the biggest tax shelter there is. FWIW, they wouldn't let Trump in. It's a fraternity that you can't join unless you are already in the right circles.

You'd end up with like $500 million cash and all these teams are $2 billion or more. You couldn't even get a majority stake.

Everyone can buy a share of the Green Bay Packers for $250.

You might be able to get a shitty nba team or a nhl team, but even the worst ones would take all of the winnings to buy. And banks probably wouldn’t lend the rest of the money to some guy that won the lottery and has no real business history

Nope.

The NFL makes as close to zero profit as possible and recently gave up its tax-exempt status because it just wasn't worth it.

The individual teams get all the money and (with the exception of Green Bay) are taxed as partnerships. The NFL itself is legally separate and is just a pass through entity.

You'd have enough to become majority owner of the Pelicans after taxes based on Forbes evaluation
