Would you be willing to try chicken sashimi?

It’s actually available at some higher end locations in SF and Los Angeles. In Japan, it is more common because the chicken is so clean and chefs are super strict with what they serve. It’s absurdly expensive here because I think the restaurants import this chicken from japan

I would NEVER eat this and it blows me away there is enough demand for it that some places offer it

I ate raw chicken once from a cafeteria — someone didn’t fully cook the gen Tso chicken nuggets

Had some sashimi scallops in Vegas from a spot at Aria without realizing what it was.

Was in fear of impending disaster for a full 24 hours, but turned out ok.

Would not order from Publix.

I’ve had sashimi scallops a handful of times in BR and Nola. Never was really nervous about it. I did learn I prefer them cooked though
