Would you be wary if potential employer brings up “high stress” in the interview

If it is wearisome to hear that, you probably don't want the high stress of the job.

high stress is a very relative concept imo. also why do clients complain?

I harp on the fast paced, high stress nature of the job throughout interviews. I want to weed out the weary and wary.

Probably has a high wash out rate. Doesn't want someone attracted to the money without fair warning as to why the money is where it is.

The first thing I do with a new hire is make sure they understand the risk they are entrusted with and the faith that everyone has to have in them.

This would be dealing with more high end institutional clients. Basically getting their specific information in their requested format to them in early enough they can act on it.

They said their clients were generally not satisfied with the work this team provided but basically said it was because the clients are always like that.

I’ve worked on clients who had similar reputation, but not in a client facing role and not near as bad as this sounds.
