Absolutely. Better if she’s from one of these schools so we can all enjoy college football together. I can support her team and vice-versa. If she’s from Alabama, I’m ok as long as she doesn’t have inbred Hobbs jaw. Current GF is from Texas A and M but not their cult college station campus.

Yeah you should definitely be more concerned with her getting a PHD in Gender Studies than her going to Bama.

You need to just sign out for the day and start new tomorrow. This is bad and you should feel bad.

As long as she would make more than me I don’t care where she goes for her graduate program.

Yeah, you don't want to be involved with anyone with a degree that has "studies" in the name.

This issue is not Bama. It’s the degree in gender studies. Sounds like money down the toilet

What a remarkably stupid question. IDGAF where my significant other if it furthers her education and profession.

FWIW I know plenty of people in higher ed who have gotten graduate degrees from other SEC schools and the like and they don’t give a frick about their respective sports teams.

Yes.

That means she’ll end up making more money.

Why would you care?

ETA: Scruffy wouldn’t date or marry someone who is studying a made up field like “gender studies”.

Not a spouse issue but I can tell you that my son is a Junior in high school and he is receiving way more love from Alabama and Ole Miss than LSU. I have always been an LSU fan and I grew up hating Alabama and Ole Miss and I raised my son to feel the same way. But if one of those schools wants to give him a scholarship I would have no problem with him going there if LSU would not offer the same or comparable scholarship money.

Absolutely no problem. Only stupid people would have an issue.
