There is no law that every persons whereabouts be made known to anyone who asks at all times. There's not even a law that states "authorities" have a right to know the whereabouts of all persons at all times.

You're obviously a moron if you think this is a case of "the man" trying to keep tabs on a person. These are kids that are missing. With the trail of other body attached to this case a reasonable person would have to assume that they are either in peril or deceased.

It's like getting arrested for defying arrest in the 1st place. In this case a judge instead of a cop says you're under arrest for resisting arrest. Still no proof of a crime other than refusing to follow orders. America the Land of Free... as long as you do what we tell you to do, otherwise you're under arrest.

In this case it was a hateful older kid or stepkid that made the report and then called in the media when he still didn't his way. The older kid had problems with the family and was told to bug off, didn't like it and now is getting revenge.
As far as the trail of bodies...she remarried a POS after a husband died, he got abusive in public, brother takes exception to the abuse, steps in to defend her, kills abuser. Other husband had died of something, now Media calls it suspicious years later. Latest husband had wife die on him, now Media stirred that so they digging up her corpse. In these, Lori might have had some small blame in that chooses, poorly, abusive guys. Courts after her for the kids she says she sent away to parts unknown, not going after current husband for it.
So you've got a stupid chick makes bad choices for spouses causing turmoil for kids so she sends them away from it all in what could be the one good decision she makes in her life to protect them and give them a chance. Now screwed up older kid wants to ruin that too.

Unless they find bodies or physical evidence she will most likely only receive a harsh sentence for contempt of court. This has happened before and a woman who clearly killed her kid only served 8 years.
I think they will try to get her on circumstancial evidence which there is plenty of. Including her and Chad day bell hauling heavy boxes suspiciously out of a storage rental. Smartest thing they did was kill her brother so he couldn't talk.
