Would you be more productive at work if you were allowed to have one beer?

I think I would be more productive after just one beer because it would take the edge off and allow me to relax and think more clearly than before. What do you guys think? Would it work for you?

My previous employer allowed us to have a drink or two at lunch. It was a European company and completely normal to them. It was written in the employee handbook that we couldn't come to work with above a .04 bac

I don't like that smokers can get their little breaks all days to smoke cigarettes. So... I agree, there should be drink breaks for all the non smokers..

That one beer would multiply over time. Not a good idea.

It’s called “lunch”, but hard to have just one.

I think it’s a bad idea if you have to interact with patients, clients and/or vendors.

If you’re just sitting behind a desk or operating heavy machinary knock yourself out.

Sometimes my job requires me to drink with my clients so in that situation it’s totoally fine.

Only one is just going to piss me off, more like 4 but I’m not stopping at 4 so its best I don’t partake in this.

Yep, that way he will relax and not be in such a rush to get off work to have his first beer.

Rushing leads to accidents.
