It's not BR, but La.1 from the intercoastal to Plaquemine is pretty awful considering the amount of traffic it gets daily.

Get over on 988 aka Kirkland. It usually isn't faster but it is smoother.

That bullshite they did to Government is stupid. From the railroad tracks to CVS after 2:30pm is a cluster now.

Gardere between GSRI and Hwy 30

If you don't lose an axle from the craters in the road, you will have a leftover stench in your car from the sewage treatment plant.

I've been on Jefferson Hwy trying to make a left onto Government Street, and in the afternoon it gets backed up past the fire station. What a shite show. I feel bad for the businesses on both side of the street, you can't get in or out.

Popeyes on 73 in Prairieville backs up into the street

That's pretty crazy. There is a fair amount of room at that one. The Staring location I get because it used to be 4-5 cars to the street before they expanded the parking lot. Jones Creek is all backed up into the street also. The chicken sandwich is tasty but I ain't waiting from the street for it.

This is Baton Rouge, there are a TON of options for the traffic criteria.

-the 110-12 corridor
-12 from Essen to Range
-Florida from Airline to Denham Springs
-Sherwood Forest
-Most of Perkins
-Bluebonnet anywhere north of Perkins
-College/Lee

Take your pick.

The smart people here would tell you to use North Blvd.
Just activate the flight feature in your vehicle and fly over The intersection, Fleur de Lis, Superior, Sonic, BRCC, snd land your craft heading west on N Blvd.

The Seigen/Sherwood and Airline intersection has become interesting - it was pretty good for a long time but recently there’s been bad wrecks and a bicyclist hit (not a bike safe intersection)

Greenwell Springs Rd.

Used to be Choctaw Rd but they made it SUPER nice now. Businesses still suck.

Major intersections because they lack painted lanes and peeps don't know how to handle dual left turn lanes.
