This is me. When someone brings up Ryobi or Harbor Freight, my brain classifies them as someone who doesn't do thing with tools often.
A buddy just bought a house from an "influencer". Neighbors all said they acted like their shite don't stink and they underfed and watered their chickens and never kept up with the property. It's a million dollar house in a nice neighborhood in Florida.
I don't reckon the underlying snobbish is the problem as much as it is the individual. I've met guys that are cool and guys that are snobs from everything from motocross to golf.

Pizza snobs can be obnoxious. My little brother went to New York City for two weeks one time and apparently became a pizza genius, and now he hates on all pizza from around here.

Wiener snobs are the worst according to a friend of mine. Women who judge wiener size and say things like "that's all you got?" or "are you frikin serious?" or they just laugh when they see my his wiener. He's all like hey lady who the hell do you think you are. Your sweet spot is only 2 inches deep anyway so I'm packing more than enough. I blame porn culture. Now every woman thinks they deserve a well hung man and they look down on us horizontally challenged men. Yeah, I feel bad for my friend who has this issue.

Guy Fieri built his brand on people like you, though. He's the anti-Michelin star guy. He loves to highlight good cooks who make interesting, fun food for the masses.
I used to think he was a massive tool. Then I started actually listening to him, and he's a pretty damn good guy.

I like nice guitars and basses but I hate the exotic wood coffee table basses. Even if I got a $10,000 Wal bass, I’d get it in a solid color.

If vegans are considered food snobs, they are possibly the worst. I'd consider wine/beer/bourbon snobs a subset of food snobs. Crypto bros are pretty obnoxious too
