What else would you expect them to say? Seems like a the standard response you'd expect from a politician and I don't see anything wrong with it. The mayor won't comment until everything has been reviewed.

The fact that they put him in a jumpsuit and took a mugshot tells me they knew exactly what they were doing and wanted to make a statement that nobody is above the law. Why the jumpsuit? They knew he wouldn’t be staying overnight. So in my mind they deserve all the blowback that comes.
