What makes you say this?
We have better athletes than the rest of the world (see olympics)
If everyone one of them PLUS the MLB, NFL, and NBA grew up playing soccer who could beat us>?

I guess this is a distinction that needs to be made. I've always approached the question with the idea of "if you had to take a baseball, basketball, or football player of your choice to play the other two sports, which sport would you choose from more often than the other?"
I know there are a ton of fat and lazy baseball players, but due to the high skill level required to play baseball, I'd argue athletic baseball players would be better at basketball and football than those players would at baseball.
Perhaps I'm answering the wrong question.

Skill players in football
Catcher in baseball
Sadly most soccer players
Basketball in all takes serious stamina
Track in general
Take your pick but all of these listed take huge amounts of dedication, training, athleticism, and stamina to be good.

We simply don't have the necessary coaching here, yet. Our team is one of the most athletic in the world right now. The most athletic teams right now come from West Africa. Ivory Coast and Ghana to be specific. Neither has won a WC.
Soccer is very much a mix of athleticism and technique, with technique being more important. Andres Iniesta from Spain is like 5'7" and 150 pounds and he runs circles around guys who are much more "athletic".

Yeah but in this hypothetical soccer is the only sport in the world. So everyone who wanted to coach would be a soccer coach.

Football does not require more skill than basketball. Not even close.

It is a pretty terrible hypothetical. The very best athletes in Europe play rugby, run track and play basketball.
Also, soccer isn't a "way out" sport in the US. Kids have to pay to play on an elite level here. In Europe and Latin America kids live at club teams acadamies kids train twice a day, go to school for a few hours and at the most elite places like Real Madrid, Barcelona.. etc they have diets that are done by sports dieticians. America is way behind those places. And those elite places have the best coaches on the planet.

Its a non stop debate that you can't really win. The skill sets for each are so different for each sport and for some depending on the position in that sport.

Basically this IMO. Being quick and strong is pretty much a baseline for all of the best of the best in each sport, so ranking the subset of skills is the way I approached it.
I'd say playing man coverage is the most athletic thing in sports. There is some mental skill in playing situational defense and knowing tendencies but the majority of it is just being a fricking beast.
Basketball requires the most athleticism per player

Baseball requires the best hand to eye coordination.
Basketball requires the best physical conditioning.
Football requires the most brute strength.
Golf requires clubs and balls....

Hitting a baseball takes hand-eye coordination, more than athleticism.
