WF? It's a pretty stressful job.

I dated a former flight attendant for a little while. She told me they had schedules sort like going offshore. So many weeks on then one off. She told me they all would just grind through the work until their off weeks where they'd travel the world. She said one girl would say she was going to Paris to get makeup like she was going to the mall. She also said that men are in demand especially more masculine men.

Have you ever noticed how miserable most people are in airports and on planes? Would you want to deal with those people every day? Not me.

Every time I see a good looking FA, they are almost always flirting with the pilots at the end of the flight or walking with pilots through the airport.

Any commercial pilots (*paging 777*) care to comment on the generally assumed sluttiness of FA's?

I dated one in the late 90's for a few months, and remained friends with her after dating. She said dealing with the a-hole pilots was worse than dealing with awful passengers.

She got to travel a bunch, and I got to with her a few times. Great perk. She used to just show up at the airport with a bag packed and get on whatever flight she could that day.

Know a few, early years without much seniority and pay are rough, but after 7-10 years with seniority it becomes a pretty good job with a lot of options. Some FAs end up at home every night with their families, others can plan their schedules around destination travel on their off days.

In the end probably similar to many other hospitality industry jobs.

Why cancer rates are higher with flight attendants.

Sounds like it would be fun to date a flight attendant.

It was fine for a casual thing, but it wasn't really conducive for anything serious.

Many of them are stuck on the same routes every day actually. Some even get stuck on regional connecting flights making the same route a few times per day.

I met one on a flight who was a staff sergeant in the Air Force. She did whatever she did at Barksdale during the week and made the Shreveport-DFW run on the weekends.

Flying sucks. Traveling on vacation is fun. But just being in an airplane for hours is not my idea of a good time. Unless you enjoy sitting elbow to elbow with strangers, loud engines constantly humming, air pressure changes, and bad food and drinks.

Is there an easier job out there? Seatbelt and 02 demo and pass out drinks. Dealing with the public seems to be the hardest part of this job and also boredom. But I would love to fly at a moment notice all over the country. I think it would have been fun for awhile in my younger years.

Anybody here ever work as one?

My cousin and his male coworker are JetBlue Stewardesses that I follow on Social media and they are absolutely the most whiny little bitches on my Feed.

I troll the shite out of em on the reg when they complain with shite like "shoulda got a real degree besides philosophy and sociology for your $60k"

And all of their friends report me and call me names.

I did too. Used to get buddy passes from her for flights.

It's a very high stress position. If you have family, it sucks.
