Work 4 Ten Hour Days (Off Fri) Or work 5 Days And Off Around 1-3pm Everyday

What would the OT choose for a work week? Current job offers me salary at 5 days a week based of 40 hours but may only work 30-38 hours total.
Possible new job would be working straight up 4-10’s and off every Friday.
Being home early every day is nice but can’t really do anything once home at 2-3pm (times vary by day, some later some earlier)
But man the sound of being off every Friday is so intriguing.
What would the OT do?

I’m on 4 10s and 2 8s
I’d liked 4 10s

I work in Accounting (finally in industry, no more timesheets (a worthless practice btw)) and I'd do 4 10s in a heartbeat.
You literally gain another Saturday where businesses are open to run errands.

If you have that
Much flexibility, you’d be able to leave very early most Fridays. Personally I’d take the 5 days and work it to where you can leave at 12 on most Fridays. 10s is great if it’s 4, but it’s a long day still.

I’ve worked a 4 day week and am now back in a 5.
4 day week is the way to go 10/10 times.

Depends on your life. 4-10s would be rough for me with my kids having after school activities every day.

4-10s for me but 3-12s is even better. I have worked 4-10s with Friday one week and monday the following week off and it was also very good but it required Tuesday - Friday one week and Monday - Thursday the following week....but gave you a 4 day weekend every other week. I have worked 3-12s when I would with my tools, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Work 36 hours, get 56 on the check! And be off Monday - Thursday. That was also nice.
I have also worked 8-9s and an 8 and had either Fridays or Mondays off and one day a week every other week of 8 hours only. That is also pretty good but 4/10s is easier to make plans....

4 10’s 4 days of sitting in that God forsaken traffic is enough.

I WFH and this is what I do (Four 9s M-Th). Except I start earlier on Fri so I can get off around 10-11.

4 - 10s and slowly work it down to 4 - 8s

When I didn't have a kid, 4-10's all day. After the kid 5-8's and off at around 2pm. But I'm an early risers so there's that.
Also, the best schedule is 9-9's if your pay period goes over 2 weeks. Best of both worlds...

I'm salaried and on a 4/10 schedule. 5:30 to 4:30, gym at lunch. I've worked 9/80s before and prefer 4/10s. It's perfect if you like to hunt/fish. I can choose whether my 3rd day off is monday or friday. I like being able to get all my chores and such done on Friday, have Saturday to frick off, and then Sunday to meal prep, hike, laundry, etc. I rarely end up working a full 40 since I'm great with time management at work.
I'll drive up to hunt on a Thursday evening, have all day Friday/Saturday to hunt, make a quick hunt Sunday morning, and be home with time to get ready for the week.
eta: I'll probably have to change my schedule a bit when my kid is born.

I was on call 24/7 for my whole career any schedule would have been a blessing.

4 Ten Hour Days
If you have travel to hobbies you're able to be gone Thursday after work.
And three days makes a big difference in becoming proficient.

Wise words.

4 10s, start at 6, dip at 4:30 (30 min lunch) every day might be the ultimate schedule.
