Today I’m solemnly remembering their contributions to our society. Where would we be as a country if we weren’t able to hear Shaniqua talking on speaker phone at the bank or didn’t have deodorant locked behind a glass door at CVS?

The article is based in Denver, so anything Southern must be black and therefore must be Juneteenth, which was not mentioned as a holiday by anyone ever until it suddenly became a holiday
