If you're a performer and the POTUS* asks you to perform you probably do it. Some folks don't live or die with politics. They go fishing, go to concerts, take road trips, and generally just enjoy their lives.

I'm not going due to prior obligations. However, if one of my favorite performers played for any presidential inauguration that would hold zero weight on if I would see them perform or not.

Most citizens of this country doesn't let cable news politics drive their every decision in life. Most of the bands I listen to lean or are heavy left, but as long as they're not preaching or lecturing at me - who cares?
