I think the misconception here is that rich and/or famous people somehow produce genetically superior children and not children with significant mental disorders.

But I find this a flaw with men, too. How many men schmooze, compliment, buy gifts for their girlfriends, listen to the whining and venting, and once the man marries, that’s it - nothing more emotionally. It’s like marriage is the end of a game for some men. Some of the women I know who have left is because of this.

These threads are always full of low quality men and divorcees with some serious baggage. It’s not a good reflection of the world. There are those types of men and women, it’s not just a women or men thing. Incel culture just teaches it’s all women’s fault

Now people in all different aspects of life see regular living and throw it away to try to upgrade to the perfect image. Relationships, jobs, cars, houses, you name it
And even if you and your SO unplug from social media, you still aren’t out of its influence. That same culture is in all forms of media (TV shows, movies, etc), news, advertisements, or just talking to other people in general. You cannot escape the “grass is always greener” culture. You can only hope to contain it and remind yourselves that everyone has real issues just like you do. Perspective is paramount
