My wife is atypical in that she is a good driver. Doesn’t bother me in the least for her to chauffeur me around at times.

And she is more than happy to take her turn behind the wheel. That’s because I stick it in all the way.

I’m old school. I drive.

My wife and I worked it out. I treat her with love and respect and as an equal. I think as long as you aren’t a dick about it, your wife/ SO will understand.

And yes. I do kind of assume you are a wuss if you are being driven around.

We've gone offroading in places in Sedona before that had no shoulder before it dropped off a massive cliff. Whenever we are in my husband's jeep...I never drive his anyways cause it's a manual and I hate driving manuals. I just had to close my eyes or not look down in those sections

I don't do that much offroading with my own Jeep...except to get to hiking trails or where we are camping at. I'm a much more skittish driver than my husband. Wayy more

I assure you I'm at least in the top 20%. Use signals, use left lane for passing only, don't use right lane to pass unless someone is just being a dumbass and clearly camping in right lane and you don't have to endanger lives to get around him (like the idiots who zoom up on your right when there is obviously a truck passing another truck and everyone is lined up passing on left, as if the right-lane-passers is entitled by birth to just magically avoid the nuisance), yield when turning left and to cars in a circle, check blind spot before changing lanes, don't fricking text and drive, leave you headlight on a setting where they come on at dusk/in rain, don't speed except on open highways as it does little good, yield to and watch for pedestrians and cyclists (even when they suck), use a multi-stop intersection properly, know where you're going ahead of time, etc.

Following just these simple things places you at least in top-20, I'd say 10 actually.

Black Bear isn't near the most challenging trail I've done but it will scare the ever living poo out of you. When you top that trail and see how far down Telluride is you instantly pucker.

I freak out with heights when we are driving on cliffs with huge drop offs below.

we took the kids to Maui a few years back and the wife drove from Kahului to Kaanapali via Kapalua, the road to Hana ain't shite, there were places where you have 160 degree turns, only enough room for one vehicle, you had to stop and blow your horn before making the turn, you could open the passenger's side door and look straight down about 200-300' to the beach, carcasses of wrecked cars along the route, didn't phase her

women's seat?

The 'Woman's Seat" is the seat I pay for, in my truck that's all of them. If you don't like it, then drive the vehicle you pay for, or walk like a bitch, the choice is yours.

My husband never asks me to drive, but he commutes to Baton Rouge m-f for work, so I offer a lot on the weekends and he accepts.

I pass on the right ALL OF THE TIME. fricks who hang out in the left lane can fricking go to hell. I have to drive 3.5 hours today, and I will be cussing MFers while I’m passing them on the right the whole damn time.

I’m giving you seconds...maybe. 80% of the drivers are chilling going 76 in a 70 in the left lane, I’m passing you in a blink.

Of course then I fuss at her for driving like a woman

It’s really simple. My wife bitches constantly when I drive so I just said frick it and let her drive. I play music, look at tigerdroppings, etc. It’s like having a chauffeur.

Unless we are in my hometown and on sketchy backroads. Then I drive.

That's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about when one big rig decides to pass another going 1 mph faster than the one he's passing and there's obviously a line of cars bumper to bumper in the left lane and some douche thinks he's entitled to zoom past the line and force his way into the front of the line. I never let these people over unless it was just a clear oversight on the right-passer's part.

But yes I floor it past anyone camped in left lane otherwise.
