AKA feminism is striking again and women are realizing they have screwed themselves. They are having a harder time finding their beta male ATM.

Women Having a Harder Time Finding their Male ATM and Marrying Up

I'd really like to hear back from some of the women posters on this site. How do you even remotely defend this? Change it from "Women Can't Find Economically Attractive Men" to "Men Can't Find Physically Attractive Women" and you can bet every last cent women would be losing their sh*t.

So again women posters, how do you defend this? How can you defend women only wanting "economically attractive men" while trashing men who only want "physically attractive" women. I'm not saying a lot of men aren't shallow, they are, but women are just as shallow and yet they consider themselves morally superior. Please.

As far as I'm concerned this is the world women wanted, start embracing it. This is a sign that women have won. Women have better get used to it as well because more women are out-achieving men at every level of academia (since academia is completely geared towards women now anyway) and more men are checking out. You women have more education now and better degrees, get out there, slave away and bring home the bacon while us men relax at home.

I love the fact that the days of hypergamy are coming to an end and women did it to themselves. Get ready to marry down or die alone women.

Well what they mean is a man who is financially stable with their own apartment/car/job/etc....

I don't see how this is an issue, as a man I want a woman who has her shite together as well.

I want a woman who isn't sloppy and fat, which I would consider a bare minimum. Would that article go over well?

I disagree, women have always had the expectation of "marrying up". Take a woman who makes $60,000, she probably isn't even considering any guy who doesn't make six figures.

So many women refuse to marry down or even marry someone at their own financial level.

There are plenty of guys out there who make decent money and have their own job/apartment/car and can feed themselves and do a few fun activities. They might not make a bunch and can't take her on vacations every month to Europe or the Caribbean but they have a decent working class to middle class income.

Yet most women are shallow and won't even consider these types of men. They are hypocritical, they want equality but when it comes to relationships they still want the man to pay for everything and they still want to marry up.

What about marrying for personality? Isn't that what women always tell men? Judge on personality, not looks. Well women how about you start judging men on personality and not the size of our bank accounts?

This might come as a complete shock, but stay with me here..

Human beings are all unique people with their own thoughts, feelings, and opinions. SHOCKING, I know. But being a woman does not automatically mean we all think the same things.

Now that we got that out of the way.. People are fricking struggling out there, man. I don't know if this has as much to do with the women not finding men due to their own personalities as it is that people aren't making comfortable livings early on as easily as they used to. Plus, we live in a much more expensive world now so your money goes a lot less far.

On top of that, you have men and women alike living college lifestyles well into their 30s. It is pretty hard these days to support two people comfortably on $40k like a young man might have been able to do back in the day.

So, currently married women who think they are hot should think 1k times before kicking their existing income producing, high net worth husbands, to the curb?? More sports and craft beer.

It really is amazing the double standard isn't it? Post something like that on facebook or twitter and your account is probably deleted within the hour.

I literally have a group of 4 childhood girl friends, all of whom are married to men who make about the same of them.

You sound really angry at women for something only a fraction of them might think.

This is so false its laughable.

Every single woman I know would easily be with a man like the above. What rock do you live under?

I have no doubt there are gold digging women in the world, but the average person isn't anything like you describe.

Dating apps and websites have made women who are 4's think that they are 8's. No wonder the only "economically attractive" men they think they are entitled to wouldn't go near them.

Really, so you think they actually wrote an article about just a few women? They wouldn't have written this article if this wasn't becoming a major issue.

I saw a study a few years back that 80%, yes 80%, of women still expect to "marry up". I don't have the article anymore but I could try to find it. Care to defend that though?

I'm not saying ALL women are like this but this isn't some small minority like you want to believe.

Yeah there are countless examples of women marrying down, the who article is about how women struggle to find men who are stable financially or have their shite together. Nothing wrong with the article really, OP is trying to make something out of nothing.

Almost like, "I don't care if my woman works at Burger King as long as she is hot" apparently that is all that appeals to them. Men are willing to settle for attractiveness while women usually expect more.

This is so true and I have been a victim of this myself. Women nowadays think they can easily date out of their league. A woman who is a 3 or 4 might hook up with an 8 or 9 guy and now thinks she can get that. So she doesn't even consider a guy who isn't an 8 or 9 in her book. The same goes for online dating, the ratio of guys to girls is so ridiculous that the only women I ever get responses from are usually 2's or 3's and unless you're at least an 8 that's all you're going to get responses from.

Tucker had a segment on his show covering this exact sociological phenomenon. Study after study demonstrates that professional women DO NOT AND WILL NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES marry "down" to any man who makes less money than her. Such men are "economically unattractive" to them, and she will not waste her time dating him. Period.

Next story, please. This one is concluded.

That's still the exception, not the rule. And it's still shallow, why should a man just be reduced to his bank account? LouisianaLady admit it, you would be furious if a guy only looked at you as a piece of a** he could screw around with. How do you think it makes us feel when we are reduced to a bunch of numbers?

Maybe, but then there are those women that make decent money but want the man to make even more than them. In other words they want all the benefits and none of the drawbacks.

That's interesting, did they go into any detail on why these women refused to date any man who made less than them, even if it was by a very little amount?
