Back in February 2020, hip-hop lost one of its biggest rising stars, in Pop Smoke. At the time, the 20-year-old Brooklyn rapper was on fire, with his music. Pop released his “Meet The Woo” mixtape, which contained the breakout hit single, “Dior.”

However, the early hours of February 2020, Pop was shot and killed in a home invasion. Four suspects entered his Hollywood Hills Airbnb, as Pop was attacked, while getting out of the shower. This occurred around 4:30am. The shooter is said to have been a 15-year-old, as he and two other suspects were arrested, that summer. That 15-year-old was instructed to hit Pop with a vase instead of shooting him, but that wasn’t the case.

all rappers should avoid LA or hire blackwater as security, if they must go

they're killing in cold blood to steal chains that they might get 5k for on the black market

“Pop said he was going to upstairs. I’m sitting on the bed, and I’m starting to take off my clothes, and he said, ‘Okay, I will come back.’ He was going to restroom. This is his last words. And I hear some noise. The guy was in the mask and his gun was like, looking at me. His eyes make me so scared. They run to the restroom. Pop screamed, ‘What?!’”

Sounds like she probably set him up.

Is it wrong for me to feel sorry for the owner of the AirBnB whose going to have had a heck of a cleaning bill?

On February 19, 2020, Jackson was renting a house through Airbnb owned by The Real Housewives star Teddi Mellencamp and her husband, Edwin Arroyave, in Hollywood Hills, California.

quote:

The LAPD at first suspected that Jackson's death was gang-related, as he was tied to the Crips. However, the LAPD later believed his death was the consequence of a home robbery gone wrong. Jackson at first complied with their requests for jewelry but then tried to fight them, and a confrontation broke out in which Jackson was pistol-whipped and shot with a Beretta M92. The intruders made off with his Rolex, which they sold for $2,000.

The day before his murder, Jackson and friend Michael Durodola posted several images on social media, including one in which Mellencamp's home address can be seen in the background. The rapper also posted a story on Instagram and Facebook of gifts he had received. One showed the house's full address on the packaging, giving out its location.

Why do people act like this is some new concept? There’s a reason the 1% always come out on top.
