You totally missed the point of my post. I was telling that his habit of eating what he wants and not exercising will catch up with him as he ages and his metabolism naturally slows. He can get away with it when he's young but as he ages it catches up.
And I'm sorry you're fat.

I'm actually seeing a professional about my habit. Woke up with the shakes a few days in a row and decided that it was time to take control.
He wants me to taper off by having 7 beers a day, then 6.5 the next week, and so on.

By the time a man turns 40, they should have banged all the hot, but less than eager, young tail that they needed for a lifetime. It's time to graduate to the not so perfect, 10-20 lbs. overweight, but horny and needing to feed their self esteem so they'll do anything, and don't ever think about cheating, broads.

It is pretty crazy what we consider "normal" body types. It takes a lot for most of us women to consider a man fat. Dad bods are no big deal to most women because if they were, they'd be ruling out a lot of men.
It is to the point where what do people automatically think when they see a really fit guy at the pool or something? Meathead.. douche.. etc. They decide his physique defines his personality. Dumb.
I used to think that way. Not anymore. There are a lot of attractive, fit men who are cool as hell and have a variety of hobbies/interests. They're not a douche just because they look good.

Undoubtedly. But I think it's pretty far down the factors that help one maintain a happy marriage. Excluding the extreme situations like having to crane your SO out of your bedroom, or arranging your anniversary dinner around leg day, there are far more important factors in realizing a happy marriage than your BMI.
Though I realize health does indirectly impact many of those areas (i.e. income, mental health, libido, energy, etc...)

I just got too deep in the bottle(s) dealing with the 1L stress. It's not a super serious problem but I wanted to check myself before it got actually bad. It never hurts to talk to someone (I almost gagged typing that).
