I would gladly pop open some Woodford with Pecker, as long as it's not in Knoxville. Insufferable folks tend to do better - assertiveness is not a dirty word, and neither is confidence.

Are you happy being pudgy or would you prefer to be in better shape?

There are two kinds of men in this world.

1. Men who eat the booty
2. Men who lie and say they don't eat the booty.

Peck, you need to join us on the H&F board. From the sticky photo thread, I think the guys your mindset appeals to all hang out over there.

Are you asking in a vacuum? Or do I factor in the current priorities in my life?

you're delusional if you think getting old doesn't affect your metabolism.

you have to work out twice as hard, eat twice as good to get half the results.

You may want to get that notarized just in case she claims you raped her booty with your tongue one day.

It's isn't about what you think. Hate to break it to you, but your opinion is not the only one that matters. I know that will be shocking to you.

It's not my opinion. It's the opinion of every doctor who spends countless hours prescribing medications for fat people.

Are you really about to go down this road where you argue that being healthy doesn't contribute to happiness? And also that being unhealthy and having health problems doesn't contribute to unhappiness?

I'm asking you, at this or any moment in your life, are you pleased with your body or would you prefer to be skinnier/fitter/in better shape.

And by pleased with your body, I mean prefer not to change it.

I posted earlier in a Tongue-punching to Darth. It does affect metabolism.

But not nearly by 50% or more by 40. It's more like 14%. Nice try though.

Studies show that in the average person, metabolism only changes very slightly as you get older. Of course, there are lots of factors that happen to most people as they get older (having kids, working too much, not being as active, eating worse, etc.).. but purely looking at metabolism, nah. I'm 26. I don't lose weight any faster or more easily than a woman who is 46. I still have to eat at a deficit, I still have to put effort into it.. I just have a lifestyle that might make it easier than a 46 year old mommy.

What kind of dumbass would take dating advice about women from a woman? That was females 101 from my pop.

This.

I sat down last night to read a bock to my kid all about outside adventures for little boys. Looked great. I have a habit of always saying who the author is of the book since my librarian in elementary school always did that, and it was 3 women. Closed the book and threw it in the garbage. Wife asked why, since she bought it and i told her my two boys aren't taking advice from women on how to be little boys.

No skinny people on antidepressants? Or are you trying to change what I said to claim that I said fat people are less healthy?

Nope, but I also never said that or implied it. This is typical you just saying whatever the hell you want and people will upvote it since it's against me.

Also never said that, but go ahead.

Bmath:

I know what you mean, my ex-wife couldn't stand that other women would comment about me that she worked with. She actually told me that she was jealous of the attention I received. I'm not all that but I'm at the gym daily.
