But unfortunately for her, it didn’t.

Yep, she should have been aware of the fact that being shot was a very real possibility

Maybe she was and was willing to die for her beliefs, whatever they were. With her military background she had to know that breaking into the US Capitol in the face of armed guards was a suicide mission. I’m not condoning what she did by any means, but maybe she knew the risks and took them anyway.

Well, had she complied with trespassing laws, she would be alive today.

Not to say trespassing is a crime that is punishable with death. I do think the incident should be investigated and if the cop is found to have been negligent, he/she should face consequences. I did watch one video of the incident and it was rather inconclusive on how it all transpired.

CNN aired the video last night.

And if you want video, here's all the video.

What would you prefer they call it?

Don’t flame my post by selectively taking only one portion (that in and of itself was one half of a comparison) and trying to make that the subject of the post. The point was people are tired and mad about being lied to by the media and politicians on BOTH sides. To call the riots and protests that took place all summer “peaceful” walks in the park while sniffing daisies and then to call yesterdays ill-advised protest an “act of sedition and insurrection” is blatantly allowing oneself to be lied to and misled. I am alright if you want to call yesterday’s fiasco an act of sedition and insurrection, but only if you call the violent riots and looting that took place all summer for what they were as some of those acts were attempts to burn down federal buildings and destroy both State and Federal property.

People are tired of the media misleading and sugar-coating the left while pouring fuel to the fire to everything on the right. Censorship by big tech just makes it worse. Yesterday was an embarrassing cluster-frick of epic proportions and the Left is just as guilty as the Right for things boiling to the breaking point.

yes there is video of her being murdered by a nervous cop that shot an unarmed woman on the other side of a barricade with several police officers in front of her as well as right behind her.

So we're chalking it up to a "nervous cop" instead of holding someone who should've known better to be responsible for their actions?

But let me guess, when the other side supports folks not complying with very clear police orders you're all for some deadly force and personal responsibility.

Right...and, here's the key to all this so pay attention...there had never been jillions of people mailing ballots either. Lots of states did not count mail-ins until all the election day votes had been counted. So you can easily see how a lead can change right?

If this was reddit, Twitter, or Facebook I fully agree.

But the OT was always against the summer riots, I don't recall any support of them on here.

Perhaps you should learn how to walk and chew gum at the same time then. There were multiple articles and TV segments from the media characterizing many of the summer events as riots, looting, vandalism, etc. If you chose to only consume the ones that portrayed them as peaceful, or worse believed media sources that told you that was how they were being reported, that's on you.

I prefer to not use blanket terms to either of the situations. Over the summer, there were thousands of people respecting the law and protesting peacefully. There were also people breaking the law and looting businesses, setting fire to private property, inciting violence, etc. Yesterday there were thousands of people there to peacefully protest. There were also a substantial number that wanted to participate in acts of sedition and insurrection. And that latter group is rightly getting all the attention today because it was an assault on one of this country's most cherished traditions of a peaceful transfer of power.

So then why are people not contesting every election on those ballots and just the Presidential race? I mean, if ballots magically showed up "in the middle of the night" because they were mail-in ballots that were counted then why not all elections on those ballots?

How many unarmed looters and rioters were shot and killed over the summer while they were burning down places of business and invading police stations??
