How many years would they have gotten if convicted? That's what she should get. I'd love to see a judge send a strong message that this shite is not okay.

Not enough
Yup.
When someone knowingly and willingly makes false accusations about someone to law enforcement or the courts then their punishment for those false accusations should approach what would have been the penalty for the person they made the false accusations against.
Whatever the penalty would have likely been for charges of rape for these two football players should now be the penalty she should receive. She should also have to register as a "false accuser of rape" and notify all her neighbors door to door. It's for the good of the public. Any person that attempts to enter into a sexual relationship with this false accuser needs to be aware of the potential ramifications

falsely reporting an incident, a misdemeanor.
This is part of the problem, only a misdemeanor for falsely reporting a crime that could have ruined the lives of the accused. Should be 3 years mandatory of hard time for each person she accused falsely.

In practical terms, she pretty much did ruin their lives. Even though the story of her making it up has come out, these guys have still been publicly accused of rape.

Sloots gonna sloot. Now we're getting some equality.

In lieu of jail time they should just let any rape that occurs against her for a period of time go unpunished.
And you got 7 upvotes

So she let two football players tag team her and then when she realized that a guy might not want to date her when he found out what a whore she is, she made up a rape story.
Nice.
Nice.

Death penalty would be more appropriate but at least this is a start.
Yup, she would've had no problem with those dudes going to jail to protect the view that she wasn't a sloot.

I’m sure that Lifetime will make a movie about her and (still) portray her as a victim.

1 year??
What would the two innocent people have faced in jail time if they had been convicted? 10 years maybe?
Whatever is would have been, that should be her sentence x2 because she accused two people.

I want a date with that guy. I will send two other innocent men to prison to accomplish my goal.
Wow.
Wow.

The chick that accused the Texas policeman of rape never got charged. National media was all over it the accusations, recanted accusation not so much. .

That’s how it works. They can report and say what they want and put it on the front page but if they’re wrong they just bury it in the back with the obituaries.
