Full Story + Video in Link

Claims her money is being held hostage by Bank of America.
Received $50K via a wire transfer from a lawsuit settlement due to her little brother passing away from a tragedy.

She's worried that she won't be able to pay her bills. Her son's graduation party has been put on hold and she's not sure how long her lights will stay on. But somehow she is able to withdraw $8K and $5K to use as she pleases, but not to pay bills, graduation party or her light bill.

I can understand her being worried about not being able to pay her bills. But unless she's 30 days past due, no utility or credit card company will report to the credit bureaus. As far as her son's graduation party, if she has a credit card, she could opt to use this to make payment and then pay it back immediately to avoid any interest charges, even though she will have a full billing cycle to do so. And as far as the lights are concerned, this should be a non-issue unless she is already delinquent.

TLDR. Claims discrimination because of her ethnicity.

Why would you get money for your brother dying?

So she inherits money and the first thing she thinks of doing is throwing a graduation party. Sigh.

I would assume he didn't have an heirs and she was a beneficiary for his estate/life insurance.

Or maybe he was super loaded and had money to spare.

Her bills were either getting paid or not, regardless of that settlement. And maybe her 13,000 income tax return can pay for the graduation party.

Also

How does her behavior not sound suspicious? A large sum of money is put into her account and she withdraws $8k and $5k in cash. She then attempts to take another $5k in cash out. I would be suspicious as hell too if I was the bank teller.

Assuming that in the video are her 4 children, what an odd time to throw a graduation party ...

None appear to be in college. And I don't know of any elementary, middle or high schools that are ending their school year in the 2nd week of December.

Appears to be from a lawsuit due to her little brother's death.

So has the bank said why she was able to withdraw 8k and 5k but not the rest?

Financial institutions are notorious for this. They want a judgment of possession even though letters of administration are sufficient, at least in Louisiana.

Watching that video the woman sounds like that money will be frickin gone in no time. She said just days after she got the money she withdrew 8 thousand and then another 5 thousand, and then her car 'just happened' to be totalled right after that so she went to go get another 5 thousand?

Bank of America sucks, but so does this dumbass chick.

Looking at a different article: She withdrew the 8k and 5k before her account was frozen. She attempted to withdraw another 5k, was questioned by the teller, told him "nunya bidness" where she got the money, went to a different branch and found out the first teller had frozen her account. She then proceeded to pull the race card.

This is good enough for us. Once the executor takes over the funds it's up to them to disburse according to the will and judgment of possession.

Pretty much. And what's the legality regarding a teller deciding to freeze an account? Also we're not getting the BOA side of the story, like exactly what the teller said she needed to do our show to unfreeze them.
