Woman gun-whipped after fighting off home invaders at Metairie home

"NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested three people in connection with a home invasion that happened in a Metairie neighborhood near Lake Pontchartrain.
Deputies said the robbery happened early Monday morning when two people kicked in the back door in the 4600 block of South Shore Dr.
Two female victims were inside the home were 67 and 38.
The older victim found the suspects pointing a firearm at the younger victim, and she had a struggle with one of the suspects.
The suspect subsequently struck the victim on the head several times with a handgun, causing minor injuries.
The suspects got away from the residence without taking any property after being confronted by the victim, officers said.
Shortly after the incident, a trooper from the Louisiana State Police located a vehicle in the area that was being operated unsafely and without headlights."

sad thing is they probably already should have been incarcerated for earlier crimes.... and will not do any lengthy time for these crimes.

This is extremely close to my home. Literally could have been me. I am thankful that the JPSO acted swiftly, and the neighborhood is full of cameras. That west bank shite doesn’t fly around here.
