So, apparently the system worked in her favor.

What's so hard to understand?

Had your doubts

You were, as you said, SURE

There is no way there was probable cause for a felony arrest which means the system faile

Were you there? You're stating that as a fact. Please post the police report when you have a chance

There's always more to the story. I'm sure she probably caught an attitude with the officer and refused to obey his orders.

I am betting that the words "do you know who I am?" came out of her mouth at some point in the conversation...

Everything she said in both articles read like she was being coached for a nice lawsuit

I wonder what happened there

Apparently only cops are able to fear for their safety and get away with it.

Yes you can get them expunged. You have to hire an attorney or do it on your own. They also cost money and usueally aren't cheap. If this is a town where the arrestes are run in the paper that will show up in google for eternity.

I'm not sure what you're upset about. I made a statement and then was provided more info in which I made a follow up post. What else do you want me to say?

Oh, I would be gunning for an unlawful imprisonment case all day. I might be blue, but I absolutely cannot stand $hit police work. I also know how you get the attention of LE be it good, bad, or indifferent.

They would have prosecuted her it or at least gone after a misdemeanor not dismissed. Most states felony resisting involves actively fighting or striking the cop or fleeing at high speeds. If either were present they would have prosecuted.

Sounds like the officer had probable cause.
Hence the attitude I suggested.

Portage woman arrested after not immediately stopping her vehicle for one of his officers acted out of defiance rather than fear as she claims.

"The motorist’s actions did not depict that of a woman afraid," Reynolds wrote in a prepared statement. "The officer indicated the motorist displayed a defiant attitude

Good said Marshall yelled and cursed at her when he approached her car, and that she told him to stop yelling.

Marshall described Good in his report as "highly agitated and uncooperative" and said she acknowledged knowing a police officer was attempting to stop her. He quoted Good as saying, "I don't care who you are I don't have to stop on a county road, I'm a single female."

35 mph speed limit in rural Indiana. I'm sure it's that low for safety reasons.

Why don't they remove the profit motive from driving violations? shite like this wouldn't happen. It simply another form of taxation and increase the chances of getting shot.

Please point out which part of what you posted could possibly rise to the level of a felony?

The charges were dropped so none of it. I agree with the charges being dropped.

Do you also agree with her being arrest on a felony based on your last post?
