So tired of these assholes. Discretion doesn't equal collars and dollars.

Had a cop leave a traffic stop to pull me over because I failed to move to the left lane when he had this car pulled over on the shoulder of the right lane. I told him it was snowing, I had little visibility and there were cars blocking the left lane. I told him his dash cam would provide ample evidence. He was pissed as hell, but couldn't give me a ticket.

Can you not also slow down in AK and be within the statute? You either move over OR slow 15mph below the posted limit in AL.

She should call 911 and state it is a non-emergency and ask to verify if the patrolman behind her is legit and indicate her intention to go to a well lighted area!

I did slow down. It was snowing like hell, and the traffic was moving at about 35 in a 55. We were literally about a 1/10th of a mile from an intersection where we had all stopped, which is why traffic was packed and I couldn't pull over.

I believe he got splashed with snow, which was what pissed him off.

Me neither. That is dangerous and distracting to passing drivers.

52-year-old woman traveling alone at 11:21 p.m. on a dark county road, she was concerned for her safety.

Assuming the car behind her was a police officer, Good said she slowed her vehicle, put on her emergency flashers, waved her arm out the window to acknowledge the pursing car and continued for less than a mile where she pulled over into the lighted parking lot at the Kohl's department store in Portage.

The decision not to immediately stop resulted in her being handcuffed and taken to jail by Porter County Sheriff's Department Patrolman William Marshall on a felony charge of resisting arrest. It may also cost her her job, because a nurse cannot work after being convicted of a felony, she said.
