Today I learned that being respectful and polite to a stranger whom you have inconvenienced is low standards.
What a selfish society are we?
the fact that you so confidently believe a citizen should be locked up in a cage for "disrespecting" a government enforcer speaks volumes about the systematic problems in today's system.
It's too bad SJWs took the conversation over and turned it into a shite show.

I really hate cops and our judicial system

That's the story. Some of these guys are dangerous. Definitely shouldn't have a gun or have the right to arrest people.
Sheriff will drop charges if he has half a brain.

While charges were dropped she was arrested had to bail out of jail and hire an attorney. She has a felony arrest record now all because she pissed off a cop. He knew she didn't commit a felony and arrested her on it anyway which is total BS.

But a felony? No.
I have had so many conversations with grand jurors and in court regarding the difference between resisting arrest and felony assault on an officer.
In AL, if you assault an officer it is automatically a felony if the offender meets the elements for assault 3rd a misdemeanor (same standard for a detention or correctional officer at any municipal or county jail or state penitentiary, emergency medical personnel, a utility worker, or a firefighter). Now, resisting is anything to that prevents a lawful arrest. Just about any active resistance meets the elements for assault 3rd which would bump to felony assault 2nd. I rarely charge the felony assault UNLESS, the offender is actively fighting me. Not pulling away, not running their mouth but actually fighting.
Jurors have asked me many times why. Because if I charge them with felony assault they earned it. Believe me, ADAs and Defense attorneys alike take notice.

You sure are backtracking and changing your tone now:

I'm sure she probably caught an attitude with the officer and refused to obey his orders.

Because now I know the charges were dropped. The OP didn't provide that info.

So before you knew the charges were dropped:

And now that you know, the system just worked.
fricking brilliant. As someone else said:

The control preventing an undeserved conviction work. That doesn't mean the "system worked" or the cop didn't do something absolutely ridiculous.
I'm sure it was cheap too.

You still have an arrest record even if the charges get dropped.
There is no way there was probable cause for a felony arrest which means the system failed from the outset. The system failed just not completely. Imagine if this woman couldn't have made bond and say in jail until the DA screened the case.

Trust but verify on certain subject matter here.

Yes before I knew the charges were dropped I had my doubts on what really happened
Then I saw a post where the charges were dropped.
So, apparently the system worked in her favor.
What's so hard to understand?
