So now it is since they attack more than other dogs and cause greater harm, the whole breed needs to be gone? So punish 99.5% of the breed for the other .5%? So once you ban them, we should ban the one that does it the most then. That makes no sense. Like the breed or not, you do not punish 99.5% off something because of the other .5%. There are better and more logical ways to control this.

The problem with this breed is that a lot of them have been bred for fighting or come from a bloodline that at one point was bred to fight. Dogs that are bred to fight are usually the offspring of two dogs that were the strongest and most aggressive of their litter.

Then there are irresponsible breeders who breed the same bloodline (dogs from the same litter).

If people are going to own one, they should be a different type of responsible than they would with most other breeds. And they shouldn't have the mindset "my pitbull is a big ole baby, it wouldn't hurt anyone" because all it takes is that one time with pitbulls. Something can trigger them and it's game over.

I'm sure it was a simple game of fetch with the pups. Pups fetching the taste of human skeletal muscle treats.

I’ve never heard of anyone being mauled by a condom. Not once.

The only way you could live next door to me is if you're the trash bum living in a cardboard box on the sidewalk outside my building.

Pitbulls are murdering their trashy owners. I love it.

Why would the animal hospital get sued? Owner came to see her dogs and they let her be alone with her dogs...am I missing something here? Maybe the family should sue the dead woman and the pits ??

They’ll get sued because pit bull owners are trashy, and it’s likely the rest of her family is trashy. Trashy people are litigious, and they like to sue. They like to sue because it’s easier than working.

Oh, and personal injury lawyers are trash, and they like to sue, too.

It is 100% certainty the place will get sued. Lead-pipe cinch.

That's what I am thinking. It was her own dogs. Why would the hospital be responsible?

You can sue anyone for anything. Whether or not you win is a different story.

There was a hipster chick with a pit bull at Superior on Highland.

If an incident happens, the dog area at Superior will no longer exist. These people ruin everything.

Surely they could have done something to distract it, even without attempting to physically separate them from the woman.

That’s what got me. I don’t even think it’d occur to me to call 911 if I see someone being mauled by a dog. I’d go help.

Who knows, the workers might’ve been feeble old ladies.

For allowing a pet owner to see their animal unsupervised? I mean, this is sad, but they were her dogs. Had it been someone elses pitbulls, then yes.

Then again, we do live in a litigious society so you are probably right.

Yeah, constant stories about pit bulls mauling people are nothing more than baseless emotion

Ok, if you had a 99.5% chance to win the powerball, would you buy the ticket? Yes you would. Well, roughly 99.5% of pit bulls haven’t attacked and killed someone.

99.5% of all fatal dog attacks involve pit bulls. Not a power ball ticket I’d buy...

This is not logically acceptable. If someone marketed a parachute that didn't open .5 % of the time, would it be allowed to remain on the market?? The only "control" for this is to remove it from any availability.

The salesman will say, "it's safe".... "except for once out of every 200 jumps someone will die". Perfectly acceptable right? This is not just unsafe, it's certain death and lots of it.

(check my quick math and correct if wrong)
