Big time. They should serve the same sentences plus some of whatever the person accused served did, in addition to damages.
It’s absolutely disgusting that someone can accuse someone else of rape and not only is his lawyer not allowed to be involved but didn’t even have access to the discussions in which his client was found guilty.

These kangaroo courts under title 9 need to be personally sued every chance they get. It is one of the most unAmerican things we have.
Every day I read more and more of this shite, and I just don't understand how both sides will ever come together. Unfortunately, I have to operate under the assumption that every far left leaning person I come into contact can and will ruin my life purely due to my politics.
I've met and interacted with real rape victims, and the idea these false accusing disgusting human beings try to compare themselves to those strong women beyond pisses me off.

The lady who claimed without proof that Trump sexually assaulted her in a department store dressing room plagiarized her story directly from a tv show, and still was awarded money.
Then when he publicly said he was innocent, he has to pay another judgement for “defaming” her.

If a woman absolutely 100 percent made it up, then I'm ok with being sued for defamation.
But many times in these situations, the line is much more blurred. That means the man should be found not guilty - as he was - but it also means the woman probably should not lose a lawsuit.
Also, $110M is insane.

Yup, and it pisses them off as well.
Just like accusqations of racism, it completely undermines the real instances.
Rape happens. Racism happens. It's terrible. But more often, it is faked.

You do realize, accusations don’t equal proof?
He was also accused of collaborating with Russians and having Slovenian women piss on him, how’d that turn out?

Unfortunately, there's no proof he didn't rape her, just a lack of preponderance to convict. I'm 100% certain rapists have gone free because of this, but also there's about 0 way to improve this, because most folks don't rape in front of witnesses.
