Judging by her age and her father’s age, barring a tragic event, shouldn’t her mother still be alive? Like the father had her in his mid to late 50s, so you’d think her mother would be around a generation younger than he is. I hope the mother disinherits and disowns her over that.

This just goes to prove how pervasive the culture of victimization is, especially with the younger generations. No matter how much you have nor what you've done, there are circles where you must be a victim in order to have gravitas. This is a horribly selfish and self-destructive mindset.

I’m willing to bet if you dig deep into her psyche you’d find that he was probably a father who was too busy with his work and money to spend time with his kids and she resents him for it. Leftists merely substitute progressive politics for religion. They just worship the state instead of God. Were this girl in a different time and place, she would have turned her father in to the Khmer Rouge or the Stasi for whatever perceived misdeeds she thought he committed. There is a profound dark narcissism at the core of Progressivism. A Maoist urge to not only remake society, but to act and speak as a God as if it is within your power to remake the very nature of man. Compassion, decency, gratitude etc are completely absent.
