“How many black men did you and your friends give oral sex to after, Phantom Of The Opera, skank?”

This question is not at all parody based on tOT’s collective view of women being derived from an enormous porn obsession.

Someone ought to straighten you out!

I’m the wife and I go on girl’s trips. I don’t think I have any rules besides spending too much money or making plans to take a trip when he has a work commitment and can’t be home for our teenager. We live in LA but he works in Houston. I have no desire to go to Vegas, Cancun or anywhere like that. Hope this helps.

Weekend with the sister and friend happens about once a year. I also do weekend golf trips with my BIL and a friend.

If her and a group went on an honest to God vacation I think I’d have a problem with that.

For example, would you be ok with your wife taking a girl's trip, heading out to the club, drinking and dancing that also involved guys? Even if it's innocent and didn't lead to cheating?

I would be totally fine with her taking a girl's trip. She just got back from one in October. Her and her friends all went to Nashville for a 4 day weekend. She is not the clubbing type. My wife is also not the type to throwaway her family or marriage for some dick from Jody.

Other things in those studies point to things like attention spurring lust. Social media makes it easy to get attention from dudes, even guys from their past. It's not difficult to spark something in those situations.

Goes back to my original comment. You don't need to go on a girl's trip to get this through social media. She will sit in the living room at the house getting this attention just like on a girl's trip.

quote:

Alcohol, opportunity, a city where no one knows you or your SO, distance from them also allows you to mentally separate from them, even if temporarily.

Again, she would do it back at home, she would just have to be more careful. If someone wants to cheat, they will. If someone doesn't want to cheat then they won't.

quote:

Boundaries and discussions about that are critical, otherwise you may end up in a situation where your SO cheats, even if you never would have thought they would.

You should not need to discuss boundaries on cheating in a monogamous marriage. It's a given. I have been cheated on by an ex that went on a girl's trip. She fricked her ex. She planned it for 2 months before she ever went on the trip. The trip happened because she wanted to cheat. If a 304 wants to cheat, she will cheat. It seems like a lot of you married women that were passed around more than a joint at a Willie Nelson concert and then get all protective when she wants to relive her youthful days. Why get married in the first place?

So you are saying you would want to go to Disney? That would be an idol trip for her to go on with the girls bc you wouldn't be going..

My wife goes on a girls trip with the same crew every year. Amazingly I don’t make one wrong decision in those four days.

It's going to fall on deaf ears man. A lot of these OT ballers married 304s and don't want to accept that fact.

I enjoy when my wife takes a girls trip. She has a good time, always comes back in a good mood, and she doesn't give me flack when I want to go on a guy's trip.

I trust my wife, and I trust the group of friend's she has. If I didn't, we wouldn't be married.

Girls trip are a big no no, they are just a getaway to cheat

Buddy, if you're legitimately worried that a girl's trip is a gateway to cheat, then it's probably worth saying she doesn't need the trip to cheat.

I go on fishing trips to Cabo every year with long-time guy friends, and we don't take the wives. Been doing it for over 30 years. Nothing *nefarious, just baws hauling in sailfish and tuna.

*We used to get two local girls we'd pay to wear butt flossers and go topless to serve drinks, but we're all in our late 60's now, so decided it was getting kinda creepy about 15 years ago and stopped.

My buddy and his wife, now ex wife, used to take their vacations separately. My wife and I always thought that was strange. He went to the Far East and Norway without her, but just by himself. She'd go on girls vacations a couple times a year.

Reading most of ya'lls posts I can't really relate. My wife and I work hard all year and want to get away. Can't imagine wanting to travel and see new places and things without her. And if we went to New York and she wanted to see a Broadway musical, I'd go with her and I'm sure we'd have a blast. Luckily I did marry a unicorn. She's not a shopper thank God. More likely to be found on a roller coaster or on the saddle of an ATV.

Have I gone on trips without her? Sure. Just did my retirement trip by myself out west, sleeping in my Jeep for two months. While I had a trip of a lifetime, it would have been even better if my wife had been able to come along. We're enabling our On The Road plan in about 18 months, can't wait.

One of her friends turned 50 last year and they wanted to go on a cruise. Her group invited me and my buddy to go...hell yeah we went. Had a great time. Even wore the goofy shirt they made for me.

we actually do this as well. My husband will go to theme parks and I go to car races.

But we also work from home so we spend more time together than most couples so solo and trips with our friends also happen.
