That is South Peters not St Peters.
OP could be confused.
(About 20 years ago I remember looking for a Hotel in S Peters for 30 minutes before I realized)

Realized what was going on, friend called 911. Went down the street and somehow she got off and he bailed and got arrested. Didn't see that part, but saw her down the street talking to police. Crazy arse shite. I don't think I will unsee the look in that women's face anytime soon. Edit.. arrested I mean handcuffed and surrounded by police.

It’s the heart of the CBD, they are usually around and sounds like this young genius practically ran into them. I’m not sure it was much responding.
But also underscores how dumb of a location this is to do that
