Pulled off stormcastforums, Medic's site. Hope they've fed the hamsters. LINK
That's an upclose look from the latest Euro. Pretty damned widespread 2" totals from BR across the Northshore.

FYI, that model and others are free to get @ weather.us. Best model site out there.

Is it true that these snow amount projections do not take into consideration the ground warmth and other things? So you might get 2.5" worth of snow, but maybe .75"-1" of accumulation?
I know nothing about snow.

Think of it as amount of snow projected to fall, not how much will be on the ground.
Also remember winter weather down here is tricky as hell. Some places might get a decent amount stick from a high precipitation band and places nearby won't.

From KFLY’s (Lafayette) in-house model:

someone message that to the BR weathermen see what they say

So laffy getting very little based on their own model yet their school system closes 2 hours ago, WBRZ is telling people there is slight chance for wintery mix and zero chance for snow where Laffy's model is snowing 3 inches

Good god, are they trying to be as confusing as possible there?
Posted on 12/7/17 at 1:50 pm to LSUsmartass
Wbrz going all in on no snow, this won't backfire at all
Posted on 12/7/17 at 1:52 pm to CuseTiger
So has every model except wbrz's shown 2+ inches?
Posted on 12/7/17 at 1:52 pm to LSUsmartass
They're being a huge bitch about this.

I hope people blow up their Facebook page and shutdown Twitter
They also need to be reminded about their Harvey flop
