Sounds like New England is closing in anticipation of over a foot of snow.

I'm working through the snowstorm. Might have to get a hotel... looks like the brunt of it is going to be in the afternoon when I'm scheduled to commute home.

I'm still going into work. If the trains are delayed, worst thing happen, I park my butt on a barstool and wait it out at North Station

Just walked the dogs, so far just heavy rain and sleet. Work from home so my commute to my office won't be affected

Niko sounds like a Finnish immigrant who works at a lumber store.

plus one

the problem with naming winter cyclones is they have much larger scope and effects than hurricanes do. hurricanes are very discrete events and it's easy to track the impacts to attribute them to a single named event. that's not the case with midlatitude lows.

My name is Niko,
I live on the second floor.

What's wrong with "Noah" or "Niles" or "Nathaniel" or even "Nestor"?

Good old 'Murkin names.

I like at the beginning how you can only hear him breathing. Kind of creepy.
