Does your coworker do "heavy breathing" overdubs in horror movies?

If not, they should look into it.

Looking out at probably 6" of snow on the ground already. NYC cancelled school for the first time in years.

My thermometer is saying 26°.

Working from home today.

City of Somerville declared a snow emergency yesterday around 4 so my office said screw it.

I think the forecasting department are the only people in the office today too. Our corner is packed as usual and the rest of the building is a ghost town.

Man I feel for y'all having to go into the office today. Sucks.

Hopefully the trains are running alright still.

I had an interview for a new job today that got pushed until tomorrow, which sucks, but at least I can stay at home and warm (except when the dogs need their walk)

all I have to do is get to Porter at some point. Whether that means I hang out here in the office, with plenty of booze or make it into any one of the bars in the area, I'll be fine. Either the Red or the Commuter will have to run eventually.

Good God, please stop using those stooopid fricking "winter storm" names

It's just a Weather Channel/NBC/Universal thing. National Weather Service does not recognize it.

When the insurance guys catch on, they'll start applying the higher deductible to damage caused because it was a "named storm".

Disappointed this storm completely missed DC. Was really hoping for a snow day today.

Meanwhile, my girlfriend is heading into Boston as we speak via train. Looks like she's gonna be stranded for a while.
