If there is even a hint of a storm I won’t get in the shower. Presently, we are having a pretty big storm and my Aunt who is staying with us just got in the shower. Google says 10 - 20 people get hit every year during similar circumstances. She’s saved and in bad health. Maybe this is her exit plan.

Yes. That was an old wives tale in the 80’s.

I have to be honest. When I was a kid, if it was lightening outside when I was about to take a bath my mom would make me wait until it was over..

Today, I will wait, if there is a thunderstorm and I think about it.. And depending on what else is going on..

Yeah, but the mainstream media’s coverage of it makes it seem like it happens way more often than that.

I'll admit it, as a kid I never would. Or I'd do it super fast.

And it lingered, because I still think about it every time I shower during a thunderstorm.

I have an irrational fear of lightning though. Having been on some bluffs and open spaces while camping/hiking during electrical storms has scarred me for life.

Same

We were playing golf a few weeks ago and a thunderstorm came along. People I was playing with wanted to sit under a tree in the cart and let it pass. Lightning struck, followed by an incredibly loud crack. I about shite my pants. High tailed it to the clubhouse after that

I’ve heard of that but I still do it anyway. I used to be scared of it as a kid though

I’m only scared of two things...and lightening is both of them. I don’t do nuffin when it’s storming outside except pray. Showering can wait.

Yes but I will wait until I get out to masturbate in case God is in a bad mood.
