No.

The major powers won't go to war with each other. They depend on each other too much. If another global scale war broke out it would be the end of Civilization. Technology has dictated that. We'd enter another dark ages.

Europe is broke and their armed forces are a fricking joke. China and Japan are major trade allies with us with basically codependent economies.

Russia runs its mouth Alot, but at the end of the day we've never had a problem with them. I don't know anyone who would argue the cold war wasn't great for science and technology.

Lol at the middle east and Africa.

We might see satellite conflicts in shitty countries, but giant war won't happen again. Technology is to advanced. If we got into ana actual war we'd just start launching missiles and bombing runs with drones until someone was dead or surrendered.

I'd be much more worried if Iran WASN'T ticked.

Plus, if WW3 broke out who would be the combatants? The US provides a large chunk of the defense for the rest of the world.

USA and Russia combine to turn most of the middle east and North Korea into glass and burned wasteland. Then they conquer the rest of the world and just split the hemispheres.

World War III? No.

The end of time? That's up to somebody more powerful that any world leader.

It's a diesel-powered ship. If you want to find it's battle-group just follow the trail of smoke.

And yes, as others have said it breaks down frequently. Some years back it had such a catastrophic failure that the crew was put in harms way and had to evacuate to the safety of another US ship while doing joint exercises.

Might?

I'd say it is a certainty.

Because he's actively trying to improve foreign relations and strengthen trade and our domestic economy?

I'd argue people who believe the ignorant drivel on social media and the MSM are much more of a threat.

You are seeing WWIII right now. People just don't recognize it as such ... yet.

Islam has been at war with the world since Mohammad started it. It is only since oil money flowed their direction that they could export the radicals.

"War" has always changed. Identified Armies standing out as such. Imagine a big white X across your chest on a red shirt standing in the open side by side.

Guerilla warfare changed that. NOW it is Islamic radicalized wariors in regular clothing amongst a bunch of civilians vs civilians.

They know how to get to the governments. It's through pressure from the public. That is achieved by breaking shite and killing people.

Islam radicals are expected to do that. Our guys can only kill recognized enemy without hurting civilians. The SJWs are in control. Their concerns and influence not only ties the hands of the military but actually do the jobs of the civilians on the other side. THEY put pressure on OUR government.

Make no mistake, we ARE at war. We will not fight directly with Russia or China. Maybe indirectly and actually helping the Islamic warriors but the real war has started and it is on our shores already.

...and the snowflakes are helping the other side. I call it caucasiphobia.

On another note, many church prophesy followers feel we are already in the end times:

Malachy's Prophesy
Fatima
Revelation
Medjagorge

All have hints of now being the end...

5 kings dead (ending w/John paul ii), one that left and the last is the actual initiator of the end... (in revelation)

Malachy ends on Francis, but calls him Peter the Romans that ushers in the end...

Interesting crap

Not exactly how tracking warships works bro

The US has a satellite constellation that monitors every ship in the Atlantic and Pacific.

We can also track the ships in Russian ports that are warming their engines up.

We know when their aircraft carriers puts to sea before the Russian admiralty does.

You don't need to track the smoke.

I have not even mentioned the SOSUS network and USN submarines tracking the carrier.

I realize we use various methods to track ships. I am saying that the method you COULD use to locate them is as antiquated as the ship itself.

The Russians do not have significant economic ties to the West.

That makes rebuilding the Soviet Bloc more attractive and less costly.

The Russians are also building up their cyberwarfare capability to destroy our advantage in tech.

When smartbombs and advanced sensors go dumb, the Russian numerical advantage has its highest warfighting leverage

If it did happen we'd not be close to ready for it. In fact, if it breaks out in Europe, it will be over before we can even put anything resembling an effective force in the field.

LINK

15 years of war and 8 years of Obama has left our military in pathetic shape and woefully unready for any war, much less a war with a major world power.

I hope you realize how absurd that statement is. The only way we could do that is by a full blown deployment of every single nuclear weapon in our arsenal. You're basically taking about nuking the whole world. How do you think we'd come out in such a war?

It's a world economy. The major powers rely so much on each other for economic reasons it'd be economic suicide to start WW3.

IMO the only wars we'll see from here out, barring some maniac that decides to push buttons for fun, is large countries taking over smaller countries. Basically what is always happening.
