I don't get the "Smith shot first" argument. If he did, why did the expert witness all say only 1 gun was fired, and there was not enough residue found on Smith to corroborate that he fired a gun.

Zero, corroboration for this "story". That is a problem.
And expert witness testimony says all bullets recovered from the scene were from Hayes' gun.

And how did RS manage to get shot if CH was shooting at an NFL defensive lineman who just popped off a shot at him first? They're gonna try to say ricochet I suppose.

Credibility with the jury will be his downfall.
If there isn't any physical evidence to support the claim that WS shot at him, I would not have made this claim.

This story is so freaking ridiculous. How anyone with a brain can buy any of this bullshite is beyond me. After keeping up with this trial, Hayes needs to spend the rest of his life behind bars. Sad too because it's just another idiot that is such a pussy that he'd take another life with very little true threat.
